With excellent 48° temperatures for runners, 14 members of the AT&T Running Club stepped up to the starting line along with over 9,000 running enthusiasts on May 2, 2022 in Eugene, OR. The course partially followed the "footsteps of legends” and finished at the iconic Hayward Field. The AT&T team had excellent results in the annual United States Corporate Athletic Association (USCAA) National Championships - winning the Half Marathon and the 5K and finishing second in the Marathon. Some of the top companies in the meet were GE, Lockheed Martin, Booz Allen Hamilton and Texas Instruments.
AT&T Moving Billboards
Wearing large AT&T logos on their shirts the AT&T runners were like moving billboards before thousands of spectators cheering along the marathon, half marathon and 5K routes. The AT&T logo was especially visible as the photos show of the AT&T team and of Mike Mallon, Sales Program Execution Manager for Mobility Loyalty, Davenport, Iowa.
Individual Results
Congratulations to all AT&T runners for completing these challenging races. 56 year-old Mike Mallon turned in a sterling performance of one hour and 19 minutes and was the first AT&T runner across the finish line in the Half Marathon.
